Double jersey series
double jersey circular knitting machine is a circular knitting machine with two needle cylinders, that is, an upper needle cylinder (commonly known as needle disk) and a lower needle cylinder, and they are arranged perpendicular to each other, that is, the needle disk and the needle cylinder are arranged perpendicularly at 90 degrees. It mainly has the following types.
1、Rib machine
Rib machine is a special type of double-sided circular knitting machine. It has (1+1) needle tracks (one needle track for the needle disk and one needle track for the needle cylinder), (2+2) needle tracks, (2+4) needle tracks and (4+4) needle tracks. The mutual arrangement and combination of triangles and knitting needles and the arrangement of yarns are used to weave and produce new knitted fabrics.
2. Ordinary double-sided circular knitting machine
Ordinary double jersey circular knitting machine is also called cotton wool machine, multi-functional machine, universal knitting machine, etc. Like rib machine, it also has (1+1) needle tracks, (2+2) needle tracks, (2+4) needle tracks and (4+4) needle tracks. In order to produce more varieties of patterns and colors, most of the newly introduced circular knitting machines are mainly (2+4) needle circular knitting machines, which use the mutual arrangement and combination of triangles and knitting needles and the arrangement of yarns to weave and produce new knitted fabrics.
3. Jacquard double jersey circular knitting machine
Double-sided jacquard circular knitting machines are of two types: small jacquard machines and large jacquard machines.
1) Small double jersey circular knitting machine are the same as small double jersey circular knitting machine, with ordinary rib, double-sided and transfer loops.
2) Large double jersey circular knitting machine are the same as large single jersey circular knitting machine, with large jacquard double-sided, transfer loops and other shaping jacquard machines. There are also some special circular knitting machines, namely, transfer circular knitting machines (including transfer rib knitting machines, single-sided transfer circular knitting machines, double jersey circular knitting machine, etc.), double-sided terry knitting machines (i.e., both sides of the fabric have terry effect), and double-sided single-sided knitting machines (i.e., double-sided circular knitting machines)
- Differences from circular looms
1. Circular knitting machines and circular looms are completely different. Circular knitting machines are knitting machines, and circular looms are strictly speaking weaving machines (i.e., flat looms).
2. Electronic jacquard circular knitting machines are circular knitting machines that use computers to control patterns. Yarns are fed from the weft direction to form cloth, so they are also called weft knitting machines. The woven cloth is in a tube shape, so the finishing process also requires the process of cutting the cloth. It can be double-sided or single-sided.
3. Four-shuttle circular looms refer to circular looms with 4 shuttles for weft insertion. Its weft insertion is different from the linear motion of general flat looms. The weft insertion of circular looms is a circular motion through the warp yarn to form cloth. Many ribbon looms are such machines. There are many types, and they are quite simple. Of course, the more shuttles and warps there are, the more complicated it is.
4. These two machines can basically weave any raw materials, except for some special yarns, such as very thick linen.
5. Large circular knitting machines are mainly used to weave clothing and decorative fabrics, and general industrial fabrics can also be woven; circular looms are mainly used for industrial things
