Production characteristics of large circular knitting machines
The large circular knitting machines can be divided into single-sided circular machines and double-sided circular machines according to the number of needle cylinders. According to the structural characteristics of the machine and the characteristics of the knitted products, they can be divided into ordinary machines, thread adjustment machines, terry machines, sweater machines, loop transfer machines, jacquard machines, and cylinder machines.
Ordinary machines
Ordinary machines are the basic models of large circular knitting machines, including single-sided machines, rib machines, and cotton wool machines. Among them, single-sided machines and rib machines have only one needle channel, which can only weave weft plain needle jersey and simple rib cloth. Cotton wool machines have two needle channels on the upper and lower parts, and can only weave simple cotton wool organizations. Other models are formed on the basis of ordinary machines.
At present, there are no ordinary machines in the true sense on the market. The ordinary machines generally mentioned are multi-needle channel machines. Multi-needle channel single-sided machines generally have 4 needle channels, and small flower-shaped fabrics can be woven through the arrangement of knitting needles and triangles.
The multi-needle track double-sided machine generally has 2 needle tracks on the needle plate and 4 needle tracks on the needle cylinder. According to the different needle alignment methods, it can be divided into ribbed machines and cotton wool machines. There are also ribbed cotton wool interchangeable machines, which can weave various small flower double-sided fabrics.
Ordinary machines can form high-speed machines by optimizing the triangles and sinkers; by adding slitting equipment, slitting machines can be formed, which are suitable for producing spandex fabrics.
Thread adjustment machine
The thread adjustment machine can be obtained by adding a thread adjustment device to various single-sided and double-sided machines. The thread adjustment machine is used to weave large color stripe fabrics and can be divided into 3-color thread, 4-color thread, 6-color thread, etc. Some special models can realize the switching of 3-color and 6-color thread functions through the combination of thread adjusters, which improves work efficiency.
Terry machine is a single-sided machine used to produce terry fabrics, which are divided into two types: positive package and reverse package. Some terry machines are equipped with terry scissors to directly produce cut terry fabrics.
Sweater machine
Sweater machine is commonly known as three-line flannel machine. It is a kind of single-sided machine, mainly used for weaving cushioning fabrics.
Jacquard machine
The jacquard machine is used to weave large-cycle jacquard fabrics, including computer jacquard machine, pull-out jacquard machine, insert jacquard machine, flower disc jacquard machine, drum jacquard machine, round tooth drum jacquard machine, etc. At present, most companies on the market use computer jacquard machines.
Transferring machine
The transfer machine is a kind of double-sided rib machine. Its needle cylinder needle is a transfer needle with elastic expansion plate on it. The transfer machine can weave special transfer fabrics such as leno tissue.
Double cylinder machine
The double-cylinder machine is a double-sided machine, which is used to weave double-sided tissue fabrics. It is relatively rare on the market. Double-cylinder machines are basically imported, and there are few domestic companies that can produce double-cylinder machines.
Artificial fur machine
The artificial fur machine is a single-sided machine. A set of fiber strip combing feeding device is added to each loop system to feed loose fibers into the knitting needles, which can weave plush tissue.
Warp lining machine
The warp lining machine is a machine that installs a warp lining device (also known as a hanging wire device) on an ordinary single-sided machine, which can weave fabrics with a longitudinal stripe effect.
